Aria stepped into her AP English class, noticing that she had been the first of all of them to arrive. A class of twenty five students and she was the only one there, go figure! Even Ezr...Mr. Fitz wasn't there. She shrugged it off. There were only ten minutes until class started. Everyone would be here soon enough. She walked over and took her seat right in front. She always sat in front, but now she especially liked it because of Mr. Fitz. He sure was easy on the eyes and there was no denying that every girl liked him. But she was the girl that had him. The thought made her smile to herself.
Aria pulled out her notebook and just began doodling. One of her many hidden talents. But wasn't it one of everyone's? Doodling didn't really take much skill. It didn't take her long to fill up the entire page with abstract images. But she was soon bored with the idea. She placed her pencil on the desk and closed her notebook. There was the bell. Class would be starting soon. It would probably be best to be ready. She pulled out her book and then her notebook, opening them on the desk. People should be getting there soon enough.

Moments of rushing and tugging at items within the depths of her bag had caused Kate's hair to become a flustered mess, cheeks also holding the lightest tint of a peach pink as she wandered into the seemingly empty class. Not once did she look up, content with hearing the silence - simply guessing no one was here. She sighed, finally dropped her bag down, book in her hand as she glanced around the room ever so slowly, actually looking interested. It wasn't until she had her hand half way through the mass of curls she proudly called her own that she noticed the tiniest sound of breathing from the other side of the room.
Kate's gaze instantly darted in that direction, her attempts to try and seem casual and uncaring of walking in looking aloof failing instantly. A young girl sat across the room, seeming to be intently doing something along the lines of....
She rose a brow and tilted her head. Doodling?
Not wanting to be caught staring, Kate simply leaned against the desk and nervously began to flick through the blank pages of her notebook, easily aware of the awkward silence that haunted the small room that should house the multiple students who attended. Feeling uncomfortable, she glanced over once more and let out the faintest cough, waving weakly in the direction of the stranger.
Palm tight around the spine of her notebook, Kate murmured a soft "Hello" in her direction, flashing a timid smile. Inside her heart raced. New things weren't the easiest situation.
